</EM><BR><BR><STRONG>Greetings from Monterey! <BR></STRONG><BR>Plans
for our 2005 conference are well underway, and the <STRONG>proposal submission
deadline</STRONG> (March 4th, 2005) is fast
approaching. We hope that you'll consider joining us for our
third event in a series on content-based language instruction. This year we
have made a number of changes based on feedback from previous participants,
including:<BR><BR>- Thursday through Sunday format<BR>- three plenary speakers
(Donna Brinton, David Nunan, and Amy Ohta) <BR>- pre-conference joint
plenary session for all workshop leaders and participants <BR>-
informal discussion groups organized by language and by 'hot
topic' <BR>- networking poster sessions for the exchange of best practices,
practical materials, and sample curricula <BR><BR>To download the call
