<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The use of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) can help students from English-speaking homes learn the Chinese language better. <BR><BR>This was the conclusion of two pilot programmes, conducted by two schools and the Singapore Centre for Chinese Language. <BR><BR><st1:place w:st="on">Nan</st1:place> Chiau Primary - in collaboration with the Chinese Language Centre and the National Institute of Education - studied a group of 40 of its students last year.</P>
