<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt"><st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Anglia</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Ruskin</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">University</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> is staging a day of teaching and learning which will take teachers and, subsequently, pupils outside of the classroom environment and combine learning with sports activities.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The Active Languages Day on 7 July will encourage active learning and creativity in a sporting environment.  The day will be focused on ‘doing’ as well as ‘knowing’, helping teachers explore ways of collaborating and providing exciting cross-curricular activities for their pupils.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">Schools from Cambridgeshire and beyond will be sending language and PE teachers to the event which is supported by Youth Sport Trust and bears a 2012 Inspire Mark.</P>
