<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">17 pupils from <?xml:namespace prefix = st1 ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:office:smarttags" /><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Bryn</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Hafren</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Comprehensive</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">School</st1:PlaceType> earned a place on a tour of <st1:place w:st="on"><st1:PlaceName w:st="on">Cardiff</st1:PlaceName> <st1:PlaceType w:st="on">Airport</st1:PlaceType></st1:place> in July as part of an on going project between the airport and the local school.</P>

<P class=MsoNormal style="MARGIN: 0in 0in 0pt">The visit was part of a scheme called "Business Language Champions" established by CILT Cymru which aims to encourage pupils to study modern foreign languages at GCSE level and above. The scheme was set up in response to the decline in the availability and level of language skills in the <st1:country-region w:st="on"><st1:place w:st="on">UK</st1:place></st1:country-region>. </P>
