<P><I>Content of Proposals</I><BR>The website for online submissions will request the following information:</P>

<LI>type of presentation (paper, symposium, poster, or work in progress)
<LI>title of presentation (must not exceed 15 words)
<LI>presenter information: name(s) of the author(s) in the order that they should appear in the program, institutional affiliation(s), and the location of the institution(s)
<LI>the name of the author to whom all correspondence should be sent
<LI>email address of the correspondent
<LI>fax number of the correspondent (please be sure to include country code)
<LI>office telephone number of the correspondent
<LI>audio-visual equipment required
<LI>abstract of presentation (must not exceed 300 words); a blind review process will be employed, therefore, any information that might identify author(s) must be omitted </LI></UL>
<P><I>Evaluation Criteria</I><BR>Criteria used to evaluate papers, posters, and works in progress will be:</P>

<LI>relevance to the conference theme
<LI>interest and importance to the field of language assessment
<LI>quality of research design
<LI>clarity of theoretical orientation
<LI>overall organization </LI></UL>
<P>Criteria used to evaluate symposia will be:</P>

<LI>relevance to the conference theme
<LI>interest and importance to the field of language assessment
<LI>coherence and complementarity of the contributions
<LI>evidence of careful planning for the implementation of the symposium, including sufficient time for discussion and audience participation </LI></UL>
<P>Preference will be given to proposals that are clearly related to the overall theme of LTRC 2011. Authors will be notified by March 1, 2011.</P>
