<P class=MsoNormal>The <A href="https://ruby1604.utsa.edu/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.famlit.org/conference/" target=_blank><FONT color=#0000ff>National Conference on Family Literacy</FONT></A>’s <A href="https://ruby1604.utsa.edu/exchweb/bin/redir.asp?URL=http://www.famlit.org/conference/call-for-proposals/" target=_blank><FONT color=#0000ff>call for proposals</FONT></A> is currently open:. </P>

<P class=MsoNormal>The closing date for proposals is Saturday, October 15, 2011.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>The conference will be held March 25 to 27, 2012 in San Diego, CA. </P>
<P class=MsoNormal></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>This is the first year that a Conference Proceedings will be published for accepted research-strand presentations and accompanying papers. </P>
<P class=MsoNormal></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Presentations and papers should be original author research with a focus on teaching, learning, instruction of and collaboration with adults and/or children in the context of family literacy or family-focused learning. NCFL has a wide audience, primarily practitioners; therefore, authors should emphasize implications for practitioners as well as for research. Presentations are contingent on a paper submission.</P>
<P class=MsoNormal></P>
<P class=MsoNormal>Papers (4,000<SPAN style="COLOR: red"> </SPAN>words) must be submitted by 5:30 p.m. PST on February 15, 2012. Editor revisions will be returned by April 1, 2012. Revised papers will be due May 1, 2012. The published Conference Proceedings will be disseminated electronically to conference participants mid-June 2012.</P>
