Hi Mai,

I've used Gee's 'How to do Discourse Analysis: A Toolkit' in an introductory undergraduate course on discourse analysis:

https://www.routledge.com/products/9780415725583

The book provides very clear explanations that walk readers through the thought process of conducting discourse analysis. It is methodological and conceptual without being overly technical, which makes it ideal as a foundation for novice students to do
projects that involve their data collection and analysis on a small scale.

Best,

Francis
