<p>The College is seeking an outstanding academic to be appointed as a Lecturer in Arabic on a Teaching and Research career pathway in the Department of Languages, Translation and Communication in the College of Arts and Humanities.</p>

<p> </p>

<p>This post requires a contribution to teaching and supervision in Arabic language, translation and interpreting, and

<p>culture, both at undergraduate and postgraduate (MA and PHD) level, but also across the College where required, in addition to sharing organisational and academic administrative responsibilities.</p>

<p> </p>

<p>This post provides a role for a candidate with research and academic potential and interest in a field or fields of relevance to Arabic language, translation and interpreting, and/or applied linguistics.</p>

<p> </p>

<p>The successful candidate will also be expected to contribute to teaching practical Arabic language modules, and must have native or very near native competence in Arabic and English.</p>
