<p>The Bicultural-Bilingual Studies Department at the University of Texas at San Antonio is pleased to invite submissions to its graduate-student-run Texas Language Education Research (TexLER) Conference. The purpose of this annual conference is to bring together
students, educators, and researchers to discuss prominent findings in the fields of linguistics and foreign/second language education. We welcome you to discuss important and controversial issues in these fields.

<p>This year’s theme is “Multilingualism: New Practices, Policies, and Curriculum”. In addition to this major trend, contributions to any of the directions within the spectrum of linguistics, foreign language acquisition, and second language acquisition are
welcome. We also welcome those who would like to present and conduct workshops to educate their colleagues on new pedagogical approaches to teaching language in the classroom.</p>
