Located in the Washington, DC-Baltimore corridor, the University of Maryland, College Park, is the flagship research university and a land grant institution committed to rigorous research, quality teaching and informed public service. (Completion of all requirements for a doctorate except the submission of an approved dissertation is acceptable for application).
