Leadership (TLPL) in the College of Education at the University of Maryland,
College Park seeks a tenured associate or full professor colleague with a dual
focus on teacher education research and practice. Located in the Washington,
DC-Baltimore, MD corridor, the University of Maryland, College Park is the
flagship research university and land grant institution in the region. The
Department is deeply committed to equity and excellence, embraces a broad range
of theoretical and methodological orientations, values collaborative research

graduate students, particularly those from underrepresented groups, in research
on teacher education, (b) experience working in partnership with schools and
communities of learners who traditionally have been underserved, (c) a</span> <span style="color:black">social justice orientation
toward schooling, (d) the demonstrated capacity to secure external funding, and
(e) a record of programmatic innovation in teacher education.</span><span></span></p>
