<p><span><em>The Bilingual Review/La Revista Bilingüe </em>is pleased to announce the publication of volume 33 number 3, a special issue honoring the legacy of Professor Richard Ruiz. Professor Ruiz was a pioneering scholar in the fields of bilingual education,
language policy and planning, and Mexican American studies. The contributions to the issue explore the implications and applications of his work in these fields.</span></p>
