<p>The University of Florida invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of ESOL/Second Language Education position with a focus on bi-/ multilingualism, literacies, content-area literacies, and English Language Learners (ELLs). The ESOL/Second

 Language Education program in the School of Teaching and Learning at UF includes the English to Speakers of Other Languages/Bilingual Education program. It has a strong collaboration with faculty in Reading, English Language Arts, and English Education. This

 position builds upon a strong tradition of excellence in scholarship on language and literacies, teaching and learning, and teacher education and preparation. This faculty member will join a collaborative, cohesive, and energetic community of scholars within

 the College that is committed to high quality research, teaching, and service.</p>
