on how language and literacy policies influence education. Research may examine how local, regional, national, or transnational policy is taken up in practice in linguistically diverse classrooms; how existing policy differentially matters for the learning
experiences of emergent bilingual students; the ways in which language, literacy, and educational planning and practices might undergo transformation and renewal in response to global shifts in migration, mobility and cultural diversity. Candidates may be
using high-quality methods from any research tradition(s).<o:p></o:p></span></p>
