for Higher Education Internationalisation of Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan together with the EuroCALL MALL SIG are pleased to welcome you to an international two-day symposium focusing on recent Computer-Assisted Language Learning and Mobile-Assisted
Language Learning research and future directions.</span></p>
<p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1rem;"><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">The symposium will be held at the Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore in Milan, Italy.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;">

The symposium will focus on the latest research and practices in technology-mediated language learning and explores perspectives for effective technology integration in language teaching and learning in various educational contexts globally. The emphasis will
be on the intercultural and pedagogical opportunities that technologies and what mobile devices in particular can offer. We will also cover the latest outcomes, challenges and limitations of these in relation to language learning, also within the perspective
of the internationalisation of higher education. <br style="box-sizing: border-box;">

The CALL/MALL Symposium, open to researchers, practitioners, teacher educators, including doctoral students, will be held over two days, and focuses on research projects in CALL and MALL, second and foreign language teaching and learning, and virtual exchanges.<br style="box-sizing: border-box;">

Proposals are invited for two conference formats:</span></p>

25-minute presentations (20 minutes for presenting, 5 minutes for questions)</span></li><li style="box-sizing: border-box;"><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Workshop<br style="box-sizing: border-box;">
50-minute session involving concrete examples for classroom practice, guidelines for teachers, and resources for further development.</span></li></ol>
<p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1rem;"><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">The conference language is English and all proposals for Papers, MALL/CALL-related European Projects and Workshops must be submitted
and conducted in English.</span></p>
<p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 0px; margin-bottom: 1rem;"><span style="background-color: rgba(255, 255, 255, 0);">Abstracts should be between 250-300 words, including title and basic bibliography, and must specify the conference format (research
paper or workshop) for which they are being submitted. The applicant’s name, affiliation and email address should be included on a separate page.
