<p class="MsoNormal">Professor Spolsky was one of the most prolific and interesting people with whom I have had the privilege to work. I was able to host him at the Center for Applied Linguistics in Washington, DC for about six months, and I once visited him
at his home in Jerusalem. He did so much to advance our field. I miss our many conversations but will remember him fondly.</p>
