Teachers College, Columbia University is seeking a Tenure-Track
Assistant Professor of International and Comparative Education with a
specialization in Language, Literacies, and<br>Communities to engage in research, teaching, and advising in the Program in International and<br>Comparative Education (ICEd).<br></div><div><br></div><div>Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain a strong research agenda and publication record.
Teaching responsibilities include graduate level courses in
international educational development and comparative and international
education and courses on language policy, multilingualism, critical
approaches to language and literacy assessment, and/or community
development. Academic advisement responsibilities include working with
both masters and doctoral students on thesis projects and dissertations.</div><div><br></div><div>Qualifications: Applicants must have an earned doctorate in international and comparative<br>education and/or a related social science discipline (e.g., anthropology, political science, or<br>sociology) or applied linguistics. <br></div><div><br></div><div>Applications: The applicant should submit a curriculum vitae, two writing samples, a teaching<br>statement, and a list of three professional references, and a letter of interest detailing how the<br>applicant
meets the criteria for the position. The appointment is expected to
