At this conference, we are particularly interested in exploring the political causes and con- sequences of inequality across different dimensions and empirical domains. For instance, how are different inequalities perceived by individuals, and what consequences do these perceptions have for preference formation and political participation? How and to what extent do inequality-related grievances trigger political mobilization and the rise of new social move- ments? And, finally, how do public demands influence and affect the responsiveness of policy-makers and what effect do policies have on structural inequalities? <o:p class=""></o:p></p><p class="">Contributions to this interdisciplinary conference address these, and related questions, in empirical domains, such as education, labor markets, health care, minority rights, language, and climate change. We invite contributions from scholars with a background in political science, sociology, economics, linguistics, education research, psychology, and law. We welcome different theoretical and methodological perspectives and particularly encourage early-career researchers to apply. <o:p class=""></o:p></p><p class=""><b class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 19pt;">10–12 April 2024 Konstanz, Germany </span><o:p class=""></o:p></b></p><p class=""><b class="">Paper Submissions <o:p class=""></o:p></b></p><p class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(81, 160, 150);">– </span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">Open</span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">5</span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">July – 20</span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;"> </span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">September2023</span></p><p class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;"><span class="" style="color: rgb(81, 160, 150);">– </span>Apply via online application form on the</span> <span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">conference website</span></p><p class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(81, 160, 150);">– </span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">Required: Abstract (max.400words) </span></p><p class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">We cover costs for one presenter per paper</span></p><p class=""><o:p class=""></o:p></p><p class=""><b class="">Format <o:p class=""></o:p></b></p><p class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">Climate Neutral Conference – CO</span><span class="" style="font-size: 6pt; position: relative; top: 3pt;">2 </span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">emissions will be reduced and avoided as far as possible </span><o:p class=""></o:p></p><p class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">Hybrid Conference – personal attendance & online attendance (all sessions, talks and discussions will be live streamed) </span><o:p class=""></o:p></p><p class=""><b class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">Keynotes</span></b></p><p class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(81, 160, 150);">– </span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">Thomas Piketty (EHESS/ Paris School of Economics) </span><o:p class=""></o:p></p><p class=""><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt; color: rgb(81, 160, 150);">– </span><span class="" style="font-size: 10pt;">Evelyne Huber and John D.
