Wiley. Terry is Professor Emeritus of the College of Education at Arizona State University and a former President of the Center for Applied Linguistics (2010-2017). He has been a long-time member and supporter of AAAL and a previous recipient of AAAL's Distinguished Scholarship and Service Award (2014). In this public event we invite all to come together to honor Terry's outstanding scholarship and the legacy of his long productive career. The event will showcase the book, "Language, Diversity, Policy, and Social Justice: A Festschrift in Honor of Terrence G. Wiley," to be published later this year by Multilingual Matters. The Co-Editors and other contributors will provide short presentations demonstrating the influence of Terry's foundational work in their own research and on the field. The celebration will include the sharing of photos and space for others to share their favorite memories with Terry.
