<p class="MsoNormal"><span lang="EN-US">In her trailblazing research, Ingrid Piller shows how linguistic practices make a decisive contribution to integration and identity formation in multicultural communities. For her outstanding achievements, she was honoured
with the Alexander von Humboldt Professorship, which she took up at the Faculty of Education of the University of Hamburg. On May 16<sup>th</sup> 2025, we would like to celebrate this honour together and take a deeper look at the topics of linguistic diversity
