<p>This internationally oriented summer school is designed for outstanding Master’s and doctoral students and focuses on multilingual, multimodal, and socially embedded literacies in contemporary societies shaped by migration and digitalisation.
 The programme combines theoretical input, research-based learning, and academic skills development across five core modules, including literacy across the lifespan, institutional contexts, and research methods.</p>
<h3><b><span style="font-size:12pt">Doctoral Symposium (part of the programme; </span></b><b style="font-size:12pt">27–28 July 2026)</b></h3>
<p>Doctoral candidates are warmly invited to submit an abstract and present their research to an international audience, receiving feedback from leading scholars in the field, our IRN members, including Ingrid Gogolin, Ingrid Piller, Yanli
 Meng, Yixi (Isabella) Qiu, Vera Williams Tetteh, and Yufang Ruan.</p>

<p>Both events offer excellent opportunities for academic exchange, networking, and engagement with cutting-edge research on multilingual literacy and social participation. The summer school includes the symposium, but the symposium can
 also be attended separately.</p>
