Jeff:

Maybe that is the wide difference in the conditions that the "studied" live
under vs. the conditions the "studiers" prefer to live under.

This is not spam.

Our response from the Akha regarding what has happened with their language
and culture in the name of linguistics and research of linguistics will be
coming back from them on Friday.

Would you rather they didn't have a voice?

Their angle on this is spamming?

What is this?

You have no idea what conditions these people live under and the things that
have been done to them regarding their language and how it is used and
written.

Does it really bother you that they would not like the name of their spirit
leader and poet used for the name of High Priests who crucified Jesus?

This list is about endangered languages and in my opinion what is being done
to endangered peoples.

By the way, the comment that the Catholics did not have a written script till
after the protestants introduce theirs is inaccurate.

I have one book printed by the catholics in 1940 and am awaiting the arrival
of one printed in 1917 and 1927.

Matthew
