ELL: cimbrian-translation

Hello!

Please, I need the literal traslation of this cimbrian songstext for an
CD-project about this nearly extinct culture of the venetian Alps. The
word-to-word translation can be in english, german or italian. The text is
been found among the documentations of the cimbrian researcher Giuseppe
Bonomo (1800).

Can you help me?


Ais un Snea

As bia de dinkh saint heveghe,
's iar tzooghenten üs mach,
vun morghende af abande,
ba loofan tüüt dar tak.

De tzait in minschen maneden,
se machet noch iar khear,
dar man, an botta stiirbet ar,
biar segan in nemèar.

Beldar man dar sterchoste
üs sicharn möchte an stunt,
un as met sölle lacha si
bas Atrop hat gespunt.


and this two verses of the ancient cimbrian hymn:

Maria de biil tzarte

Maria de biil raine,
se hatte grosse paine
um ünsarn Heere Jesum Christ,
bo allar belt an tröstar ist.

Se ghinghent allar vrüghe
un khèerten met dar meere
dass Christ arstannet bäre,
bo allar belt an braitar ist.
