National Indian Telecommunications Institute

The National Indian Telecommunication Institute was founded to bring
technology to American Indian, Native Hawaiian, and Alaskan Native
communities in order to expand their opportunities for education,
economic development, and civic involvement. Advanced technologies also
allow Native American communities to preserve cultures that are rich in
oral history but often misunderstood or overlooked. NITI’s many
initiatives include the Virtual Museum Project, an interactive Comanche
language.
