How much is your culture tied in with the language you speak?
And, in today's globalised economy, is there still a case for teaching
languages other than English at Australian schools?

Darcel Moyle is a Goori woman from Minjerribah -- otherwise known as
North Stradbroke Island, just off the coast of Brisbane.

She's also an Aboriginal Education Officer with the Australian Education
Union, as well as the Indigenous representative on the ACTU.

Darcel was one of the speakers at a national language teachers'
