Dear colleagues,

Follow the link for information on this year's Celtic Studies Consortium
scholarships. Please note the definitions regarding Celtic Studies. Consortium
members define Celtic Studies in a classical sense, i.e. linguistically, literary, or
culturally with a prominent language element, i.e. it is not an area studies
definition. The call is open to historical or wider cultural studies, though the work
should explain why it needs to be supervised (partially at least) by experts in
Celtic Studies and be directed towards this particular CDT. Applications will be
selected internally for nomination.

Applicants must be nominated for a CDT studentship by the host institution. Those
wishing to be considered for nomination by Swansea University should in the first
place complete the College of Arts and Humanities scholarship application form which
is available from Gabriella Wasiniak, the Graduate Centre Administrator:
g.wasiniak at swansea.ac.uk <mailto:g.wasiniak at swansea.ac.uk>; telephone: +44 (0)1792
295926. Completed applications must be forwarded to Gabriella Wasiniak, College of
Arts and Humanities (g.wasinak at swansea.ac.uk <mailto:g.wasinak at swansea.ac.uk>) by
12pm, the *5th of February, 2015. *Nominated applications will then complete the CDT
form by February 27.
