Please help us get the word out to all the language listserves and interested language advocates. <br style="line-height: 1.22em; "><br style="line-height: 1.22em; ">InField 2010 Ready for Registration<br style="line-height: 1.22em; ">This summer, the University of Oregon is hosting the second Institute for Field Linguistics and Language Documentation (InField 2010). InField 2010 is an excellent opportunity to learn/update the technical skills necessary to do successful modern language documentation, maintenance, and revitalization. InField will consist of two weeks of workshops (June 21 – July 2) with the option of an additional week for lab practice (July 5-9) or an additional four weeks of training in field methods (July 5 – 30).<br style="line-height: 1.22em; "><br style="line-height: 1.22em; ">The Northwest Indian Language Institute (NILI) will also be hosting its annual Summer Institute (June 21 – July 30), with courses covering topics including Northwest languages, linguistics, and language teaching methods, centered on the theme Language and Place.
