using return to end a trial?

Hi, All.  I'm using Eprime for a simple experiment where I would like
subjects to enter a 3 digit number while looking at an image.

Ideally, I would like the number to appear at the bottom of the
screen, backspace and other corretions to be made, and when the
subject is done, hitting return to end a trial.  I've tried several
things in eprime beta 5 with no luck.  I've looked at some of the
examples floating around and the closest I've found is a type-in
(pop-up) box that can be edited (as in the Peterson example).

Of course I want to record RT and what the subject inputs.
