A good way to view the lines in these tab-delimited files is to read them
into MS-Word (or whatever) and make TAB characters visible. In MS-Word
you do this by going to Tools/Options and checking "Tab characters" under
"Nonprinting characters" on the View tab. Any discrepancies will show up
more clearly this way.
