pin and parallel port

Hello,

I have a basic question concerning input received from
parrallel port. I have connected my response buttons and a MRI
camera to my computer using the parallel port. My computer
received pulses from the MRI and also key presses from the
buttons. But in my system, polarity of MRI pulses and button
signal are opposite. Then, I would like to control directly
the state of each pins during all the experiment. How could I
do that ? I have seen there is a ReadPort command. The address
of my port is H379. Could any one give me some indication (or
part of script) to solve this problem ?
