Run-time error

Dear David,

Thank you for your reply. :)
I have solved the problem.
You are right that this error occurs when I have
two sub-objects (the texts in my case) with the
same name in the same slide. From the script, I
found out the line where the error occured, and
change the name of the text. For example:

Block1Feedback.States.Item("Default").Objects.Add
Block1Feedback_SlideText, "Text8"

E.G., I have problem with "Text8" in the slide
named Block1Feedback, as indicated by the script.
So I changed the name of one of the text 8, and the problem solved.
I think probably this occured because I like to
copy the sub-objects directly from other slides
which have the same sub-objects to avoid typing the same words/contents again.

Thank you very much. :)

Just a wild guess, it looks like somehow E-Prime thinks you are
trying to create two slide sub-objects with the same name. E-Studio
should catch that before you get to run-time, but that's my best
guess for the error.

If it were me, I would first make a backup of the existing .es
file. Then I would completely rebuild the offending slide object
from scratch, and delete the old one, and see if that makes any difference.

Good luck.
