working with files

Hello everyone.

I am wishing to use a text file for some temporary storage of some
experiment data to use in various other experiments. I see hope to open a
new file and I think I have it down how to write to it. However I would
like to delete the file when I am done with it. Does anyone know how I can
go about doing that?

Thanks,
Greg
