key logging vs. advancing to the next slide with a "t"

Yes, we do use a button box for subject input (although it still gives
character responses r, g, b, or y so using a keyboard is the same as
long as you press those buttons).  I will look into using a "port" for
the scanner but as far as I know it magically sends a "t", I think,
through the button box.
