Tips needed for tweaking the standard likert scale script

Actually, I may have a solution to 1: add a check at the end of the
inline; if RT=0, then set no-response =1, else =0 kind of thing. that
way I can easily determine in my logs which trials are no response,
and either exclude them or not. I am still not sure how to fix problem
2 however.
