<div dir="ltr"><span style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Hi!</span><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">I have different question to ask regarding randomization of stimulus. I am trying to make a parametric block design experiment. Within this type of experiment  within a run, stimulus A1 in block 1  has to be followed by stimulus A2 in block 2. So if following is the order of blocks:</div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">block1 - stimulus A1 ;  block2 - stimulus A2; </div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;"> block3 - stimulus B1; block4 - stimulus B2; </div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">block5 - stimulus C1; block6 - stimulus C2</div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">I want to randomise the blocks in pairs , such that A1 is always followed by A2, B1 is always followedd by B2, C1 is always followed by C2. However,the presentation of these pairs should be randomized across subjects.</div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;"> Also, the presentation of blocks within each pair should be counterbalanced across subjects, such that half the sujects get A1 followed by A2 and other half get A2 followed by A1.</div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;"><br></div><div style="font-family: arial, sans-serif;">Can anyone help with this .</div></div>
