This is the conference report and research agenda from the Glen Cove conference on Strategic Design and Public Policy (2010) co-hosted by the United Nations Institute for Disarmament Research, Said Business School of the University of Oxford, and the Center for Local Strategies Research at the University of Washington. It is the first event of its kind to bring cultural research, design and public policy together for a discussion of how to better bring local knowledge to action through design.

(Please note also that The Policy Lab and UNIDIR have now signed a 5-year Framework Agreement on collaboration on matters of peace and security. More details can be found on the Featured page of The Policy Lab's website www.thepolicylab.org (http://www.thepolicylab.org))

Thank you.
