<DIV>Desde que comecei a estudar lingüística, tenho ouvido a respeito da existência de dados lingüísticos inéditos arquivados no Museu Nacional. Alguém saberia me informar se existe um catálogo deste material e como se poderia ter acesso a ele? Também estaria interessado em saber a respeito de arquivos de dados lingüísticos inéditos que porventura existam em outras instituições, tais como o SIL e a Funai/Museu do Índio.</DIV>

<DIV>Escrevendo sobre o Ofayé, Darcy Ribeiro (<EM>Confissões</EM>) diz que Gudschinsky teria obtido "um dicionário de cinco mil palavras e algumas horas de texto". A existência deste material, contudo, não é mencionada em nenhum dos artigos de Gudschinksy sobre o Ofayé (1971, 1974). Caso, de fato, exista (Darcy tende às vezes ao exagero, como, por exemplo, quando afirma que "a língua Ofayé está salva"), seria ótimo saber onde estará este material.</DIV>
