<P class=MsoBodyText style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt"><SPAN lang=ES-AR style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt">La realización de los cuatro encuentros anteriores (1999, 2001, 2002 y 2003) generó un espacio propicio para que los docentes y maestros de lenguas (aborigen, extranjera y materna) y miembros de las diferentes comunidades aborígenes pudieran debatir e intercambiar ideas, experiencias e investigaciones en el marco de la enseñanza y preservación de las lenguas. Es un compromiso de la Universidad continuar con estos encuentros académico-científicos que permitan profundizar el análisis de la problemática lingüística en sus aspectos educativos, culturales y sociales.<o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
<P class=MsoBodyText style="MARGIN: 0cm 0cm 0pt; TEXT-INDENT: 35.4pt"><SPAN lang=ES-AR style="FONT-SIZE: 11pt; mso-bidi-font-size: 10.0pt">Consideramos, por consiguiente, que es necesario rescatar lo planteado en nuestro primer proyecto afirmando que "la base del desarrollo intercultural es el reconocimiento de las diferentes culturas, la convivencia de todas las lenguas, lo que implica tolerancia y respeto por las mismas. Por ello, debemos establecer condiciones que posibiliten una convivencia social pluralista, fundada en el respeto por la diversidad, en el rechazo a la uniformidad que nos lleva al unilingüismo, en la revalorización de las lenguas minoritarias y en la defensa del patrimonio lingüístico y cultural de cada región". <o:p></o:p></SPAN></P>
