enlarging our knowledge and understanding of syntactic diversity. Contributions
are expected to be data-driven, and the discussion of theoretical issues is
appreciated to the extent that it helps to elucidate the data and remains
understandable to persons that are not specialists of the relevant theory. All
major theoretical frameworks are equally welcome, and papers that adopt a
diachronic or comparative perspective are also welcome, as well as papers
dealing with morphological or semantic issues, in so far as syntactic issues
also play a major role.<o></o></span></font></p>

de la série ‘Syntaxe des Langues du Monde’, (SWL 1 - Leipzig 2004, SWL 2 -
Lancaster 2006 et SWL 3 - Berlin 2008), cette conférence fournira un lieu de
rencontre et de débats aux linguistes travaillant sur la syntaxe de langues ou
variétés de langues relativement peu étudiées. Son objectif essentiel est
d’élargir notre connaissance et d’améliorer notre compréhension de la diversité
linguistique. Les contributions doivent se fonder sur la présentation de
données. La discussion de questions théoriques est appréciée dans la mesure où
elle éclaire les données présentées, et à condition de rester compréhensible à
des syntacticiens qui ne sont pas spécialistes de la théorie à laquelle il est
fait appel. Tous les principaux cadres théoriques sont également les bienvenus,
ainsi que les communications qui adoptent une perspective diachronique ou
comparative. Les communications traitant de questions morphologiques ou
sémantiques peuvent être acceptées dans la mesure où le sujet traité est en
relation étroite avec des questions de syntaxe.<o></o></span></font></p>
