<DIV>Segue abaixo a Chamada de Trabalhos para o IV Congresso Internacional sobre
Metáfora na Linguagem e no Pensamento, que acontecerá nos dias 26, 27 e 28 de
outubro de 2011 na Universidade Federal do Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), em Porto
Alegre, RS.</DIV>

<DIV>O IV Congresso Internacional sobre Metáfora na Linguagem e no Pensamento é
considerado um importante evento para a comunidade de pesquisa em metáfora e
para a comunidade internacional de Linguística Cognitiva de maneira geral. O
congresso aborda diversos aspectos da Linguística Cognitiva; neste ano, o tema
central será Metáfora: Cultura e Natureza.</DIV>

<DIV>Estamos recebendo resumos para apresentações orais e posters dentro do tema
geral do congresso. As apresentações orais terão a duração de 30 minutos (20
minutos para apresentação e 10 minutos para debate). As apresentações orais
consistem de duas modalidades: uma sessão de apresentação de pesquisas e uma
sessão de apresentação de trabalhos em andamento, destinada preferencialmente a
alunos de pós-graduação.</DIV>
<DIV> </DIV>
<DIV>Os resumos submetidos devem ter entre 300 e 400 palavras (sem contar as
referências) e devem ser enviados para o e-mail <A href="mailto:ivcmlp@ufrgs.br">ivcmlp@ufrgs.br</A> até o dia 15 de abril (no
campo “assunto” do e-mail, deve constar IVCML – submissão de resumo). O resumo
deve conter o título da apresentação e a modalidade de apresentação:
apresentação oral, poster ou trabalho em andamento. Se relevante, especifique no
resumo quais são as questões norteadoras da pesquisa, bem como a abordagem, o
método, os dados e os resultados encontrados ou esperados. Não inclua nenhum
tipo de informação que possa identificar a autoria do trabalho. As informações
sobre o autor (nome completo, afiliação acadêmica e endereço de e-mail) devem
aparecer apenas no corpo do texto do próprio e-mail; não no texto do resumo.
Todos os resumos serão avaliados anonimamente por um comitê científico
internacional. As notificações de aceite dos trabalhos serão enviadas aos
autores até o dia 15 de junho.</DIV>

<DIV><BR>Se desejarem, os apresentadores podem submeter também seus textos
completos para publicação. Os trabalhos completos para publicação devem ser
enviados até o dia 30 de agosto. Esses trabalhos também passarão pela avaliação
do comitê científico.</DIV>
