	"in research"...do you mean in research design?

	most medical studies did not include women until this was
rethought and understood to be bad medical research.

	i am told there is extensive research on the differences in how
men and women, african-americans and caucasians are clinically treeated
for heart disease and other problems.  Guess who is treated better?
I don't have any sources, tho.

database, try the Nat'l Institutes of Health website in the U.S. or the
Mayo Clinic website:  www.mayo.edu
