Hello,

the next feminist linguistics discussion group will be taking place on Friday, 22nd February from 4-5pm in Room 206, Scandinavian Studies, 16-18 Gordon Square (entrance inside the UCL campus). This month we'll be looking at German feminist linguist Luise F. Pusch’s argument for the feminisation of language.

Her article “Totale Feminisierung: Überlegungen zum umfassenden Feminimum” (Women in German Yearbook 4, 1988) can be found on JSTOR and Project Muse, but is available in German only. However, her ideas are useful for thinking about other languages too!

Please feel free to bring any other texts you would like to discuss.

I look forward to seeing you there,

Christiane
