Assistant Professor in Spanish Linguistics
     Assistant Professor, tenure-track position in Spanish Linguistics to
begin Fall 1998. Area of specialization is Sociolinguistics; an additional
area highly
desirable. Ph.D. in hand or expected by date of appointment. Teaching duties
include graduate and undergraduate courses in linguistics and undergraduate
language instruction. Evidence of excellent research potential, effective
teaching, and fluent command of Spanish is required. Send letter of

Lee, Chair, Search Committee, Department of Spanish and Portuguese. All
