Cognition and Language Workshop (CLaW)

The 2012 Cognition and Language Workshop (CLaW) will take place on 
April 14, 2012, at UC Santa Barbara.

The conference will feature an invited keynote talk by Professor Seana 
Coulson of UC San Diego, entitled "Neural Cartography: Conceptual 
Mapping in Language and Cognition".  The program also includes eight 
talks selected from among peer-reviewed abstracts.  Conference 
presentations cover a range of topics in the area of language and 
cognition, including language acquisition, codeswitching, metaphor, 
and morphosyntax, and draw on data from several languages, including 
English, Dutch, Czech, and Albanian.

affiliation.  There is a $10 registration fee, payable on site or by 
mailing a check.
