Politeness: Multidisciplinary Perspectives on Language and Culture
Saturday March 12th 2005
Nottingham, UK

The Linguistic Politeness Research Group is hosting this one-day
conference in Nottingham, UK. The Journal of Politeness Research:
Language, Behaviour, Culture, published by Mouton de Gruyter, will also be
launched at this event. The panel session on Politeness in Institutions
will have a language and gender focus.

CALL FOR POSTERS
Abstracts for posters are invited on any topic relating to politeness,
language and culture from a multidisciplinary perspective.
Deadline: 10th December 2004
