Dear all,

It's time for the annual LINGUIST fund drive, and I urge you to donate to
LINGUIST, which hosts this listserve as well as many other services related
to language and gender--book announcements and reviews, conference and job
announcements, etc. Response to the fund drive has been very low this year,
and the organizers are concerned about the future of LINGUIST. Please give
anything you can; even $5 or $10 will help. (And for $25 or more you get a
nifty premium...).
