*I) Paper Presentations*

a) *Individual papers*: Each individual paper should be no more than 20
minutes in length with 8 minutes of time for questions. (This allows for two
minutes of time for the change in presenters etc.)

*Individual paper abstract submissions*:

・ The abstract should be no longer than 250 words, not including
references, figures, tables, and/or graphs.

・ Authors should not include their names or otherwise reveal their
identity anywhere in the abstract file.

b) *Panels*: Each panel should be organized around a specific theme or
topic. Each panel should be composed of no more than three speakers in one
90 minute slot, and allow at least 15 minutes for questions and general
discussion.

*Panel abstract submission*:

・ The overall panel abstract should be no longer than 150 words
outlining the theme and focus of the panel overall.

・ A 250 word abstract for each of the presentations within the panel
should immediately follow the overall panel outline.

・ Authors should not include their names or otherwise reveal their
identity anywhere in the abstract file.

*II) Posters*

Each poster should be no more than 1m wide by 1m high. Please follow the
Guidelines for Posters to be Displayed at IGALA6.

*Poster abstract submission*:

・ The abstract should be no longer than 250 words, not including
references, figures, tables, and/or graphs.

・ Authors should not include their names or otherwise reveal their
identity anywhere in the abstract file.

*Guidelines for Posters to be Displayed at IGALA6*

1. Maximum poster size is 1m wide by 1.5m high.

2. All posters *must* be professionally printed rather than
constructed with scissors and glue. Despite the cost, we strongly recommend
that you have them laminated to avoid tearing.

3. We recommend that you also bring a document wallet in which to
place your handouts. The wallet can stand below your poster and your
handouts can be taken by interested parties throughout the conference.
Abundant feedback and personal contacts are strengths of the poster format,
so you should provide an e-mail address in the handout for those who want to
contact you later.

4. Posters for IGALA6 will be mounted with material supplied, but if
you want to use your poster for future conferences, veterans recommend
fitting your poster with metal rings to facilitate hanging.

5. Posters will be exhibited throughout the conference (from Saturday
morning to Monday afternoon) and a dedicated poster session has been
timetabled in the programme during which you should be available to answer
questions.

*III) Workshops***

Workshops should provide a forum for open discussion or exploration of
issues of interest to the conference themes. Workshops will be scheduled
into 90 minute slots in the regular programme.

*Workshop abstract submission*:

・ The abstract should be no longer than 250 words, not including
references, figures, tables, and/or graphs.

・ Authors should not include their names or otherwise reveal their
identity anywhere in the abstract file.
