Dear all,

I am thrilled to announce that the first issue of the blog is online!

The blog is part of the new IGALA website (http://igalaweb.wix.com/igala)
and aims to foster debates among scholars and non-academic audiences.

My thanks go to Michelle, Lucy and Holly for their help as well as the
contributors of this issue: Dr Jane Sunderland, Roberta Iacovelli and Reid
Thompson. The topic of this issue is Researching language and gender: from
stereotypes to scholarly investigation.

You can find the homepage of the blog here:
http://igalaweb.wix.com/igala#!igala-blog/cbfq. If you want to contribute,
the next deadline is 31 January 2016.

We really hope you will enjoy reading it!

Best,
