successful candidate will have a Ph.D. completed or near completion in Women
and Gender Studies, African Studies, or any relevant area, demonstrated potential
for excellence in research and in teaching. We anticipate a teaching load
equivalent to two full-year courses. The majority of the teaching and
administrative responsibilities will lie in WGSI (70%), with one half course
and light administrative responsibilities in the African Studies program (30%).
