Please consider signing this petition.  Management at Univ. Sussex have<br>
unilaterally decided to close Linguistics. They have not taken the<br>
decision through any committee or even through a recently de-fanged<br>
Senate. This closure is 'punishement' because a group of early career<br>
researchers at
Sussex 'failed' to score enough RAE points.<br>
